Production Steps
1. Questionnaire

We e-mail you a brief questionnaire, usually about four pages of fill-in-the-blank questions. You have two weeks to complete and return the questionnaire. You may simply answer the questions, provide draft articles that we'll edit, or provide alternative information on your "hot topics."
If you have brochures or flyers that "answer" our questions, just reference them and include them with your returned questionnaire. The information that you return with your questionnaire is the information we use to put together your articles for pages 1 and 4. The more complete your questionnaire is, the more fine-tuned your articles will be.
2. First Draft

We e-mail you the first draft for all the articles, text boxes, and photo captions for pages 1 and 4. The instructions accompanying this draft will explain where each article is to be placed and what else accompanies it (photos, graphics, boxes, etc.). You may edit the articles as much as you want and send us the revised text. You are given a week to review and edit your first draft copy. You return your marked-up copy via e-mail or fax.
In the meantime, we also send pages 2 and 3 text to you for review. You do not have to edit pages 2 and 3, but we do need to know if anything conflicts with your local programs, so that we can modify or, if needed, eliminate the articles.
3. Final Draft
We send you the revised copy of pages 1 and 4 for your final approval. You have a week to e-mail or fax back your approval and/or any additional changes.

4. Prepress

Here's where the layout designer works the final magic over your edition—and everyone else's. At this stage, we send the copy to two independent proofreaders. In-house, we make final edits to the copy and adjustments to the layout for printing.
Then the computerized layout is outputted to a high-resolution file. We do one last check before the printer makes the color-separated plates for printing.
5. Printing and Shipping
"One Man's/Person's Trash..." is printed in a large run, keeping prices low for everyone. On press, each newsletter is printed on newsprint and folded twice. As the newsletters come off the press, they are bundled for shipping.
Depending on the size of your print run, your newsletters will be boxed for shipment with a carrier such as FedEx or placed on a skid and shipped via a trucking company to your distributors.

6. Delivery
We anticipate that your copies will be delivered to you and/or your distributors no later than the scheduled delivery date.
