Trash Talk!
Trash Talk! makes it easy for you to reach your elementary students.
Trash Talk!, which is published four times during the school year, features your recycling, reuse, household hazardous waste, electronic waste, yard waste reduction, composting, waste reduction, litter prevention, school recycling, and other programs.
The Trash Talk! newsletter is designed and written to educate and inform your third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students about your programs, including the what, when, where, and how of your local programs and facilities. You provide your factual information and Eco Partners writes, designs, and prints your edition. It is shipped to you for distribution to your schools.
Trash Talk! can be customized further at a minimal charge. Electronic files of your edition can be posted at your website. A customized masthead can be developed to replace the standard masthead.
While the outside pages explain your local programs, the inside pages are filled with fun activities that reinforce your waste reduction and recycling message. These activities are designed to be on-skill for upper elementary students. We use waste reduction, reuse, recycling household hazardous waste, litter, and more as the themes for these activities, which reinforce math, science, social studies, and language arts skills. The inside pages are not customized.
Trash Talk! is delivered mid-September, mid-November, early March and late April for distribution to your schools. Each edition takes a little over two months to complete. For instance, the fall edition kicks off in mid-July and is delivered in mid-September.
