Teacher Guide
With each edition, we produce a Teacher Guide at no additional cost. The Teacher Guide offers your teachers an extension activity, ideas to "reuse" the newsletter in the classroom to reinforce Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and other basic skills, and teacher keys for the activities found inside the newsletter. In addition, we provide information to show how each Trash Talk! activity supports accepted "standards of learning" by introducing, practicing, and reviewing grade-appropriate skills and proficiencies.
We provide you one copy of the Teacher Guide, either a PDF copy that is e-mailed to you or a hard copy via U.S. Mail. By copying and distributing the Teacher Guide along with the newsletter, you ensure that Trash Talk! is used over and over again in the classroom—reinforcing your waste reduction and recycling message.
